Claim Exclusive Pepemons with Card Staking

You probably have seen it by now, alongside our Black Friday store-wide promotion a new section on our site has been introduced — Events!

Sadly we can’t go to old-school, face2face events yet in most parts of the globe, but you can definitely participate in some Card Staking Events if you are the lucky owner of the NFTs required for a particular Event and by staking those Collector’s Edition cards you can claim exclusive Pepemon cards!

Ok so do I need cards to get more cards?

Yes. Smart Pepetrainers who have claimed their beloved Pepemons and helped burn more than 72% of the $PPDEX supply will be happy to see that they can participate right away in specific pools.

Young Padawans who don’t have the required NFTs will have to go to OpenSea and hunt for the best Listings before the event stops accepting new joiners if they want to grab those precious and exclusive Pepemons.

Cool, how does it work in practice?

Head over to the Events page and see which ones are currently active.

For instance in this event you don’t own a Pepe Ketchum, so in order to participate you’d need to acquire that card first or just join the next one!

Events can be upcoming, open or closed.

There’s always an option to buy a required card you don’t own on OpenSea

You can only participate in open events if you have the right cards.

Buy Items from our Store in order to save from burning your original cards

If you need an ITEM card then you can always purchase one from our Store.

Read carefully what cards you will receive after successfully completing the event and which are going to be burned after successfully claiming your reward

When you have the right cards for an event, hit Approve and Join Event to start staking your cards.

It’s critical to read all the information on screen before approving and staking of your NFTs, especially the burned cards and the received cards on completion of the event.

You can at any time withdraw your cards from staking

You can always Withdraw from an Event at any time by unstaking your cards, but be aware that you might not be able to rejoin it later and that all progress will be lost.

Has the timer gone to 0 and progress is at 100%?

Then you can click on ‘Claim reward’ and enjoy your newly minted card(s). Congrats!

Only when you claim your reward you’ll get your cards back or burned

After you claim your reward you’ll get your staked cards back or burned (depending on the event type), and receive your new card.

So how many Events can be expected?

There’s going to be multiple Events every month with most of them providing a way to evolve your already claimed or purchased Pepemon either by burning your original cards or using an ITEM card to save them.

Plan is to organize themed Events and reward Pepetrainers who have a diverse collection of cards.

Later these evolution cards would enable trainers to not only get exclusive access to Pepemon that cannot be claimed from the Store but also be the first ones who can mint Battle Edition NFTs that will be usable in the upcoming on-chain Pepemon TCG!
